Arkley Old Town - Dave's DCC Model Railway Layout

Welcome

Welcome to 'Arkley Old Town', an OO scale 4mm gauge model railway, inspired by, but not a recreation of, Blackpool North in Lancashire. The period depicted on this model is from the BR 'Blue' days up to and including Sectorisation. Modeller's licence takes effect when more modern WAGONS and DMU's appear but generally, LOCOMOTIVES will conform to the set time period. The main layout is contained on a 11'x3' baseboard in the living room of my small flat, with a 5-road fiddle yard extension. 	21st Dec 2005	Freight Trains Here are a few 'Trainload' pictures. There are generally two views of each train - a close-up of the loco and a full train view.
	1st Jul 2005	Loco Lights and other bits Have fitted a few locos with lights from Express Models. These are all my light fitted locos (so far). More to be added within a couple of days.
	24th Jul 2007	New Freight Branch Not finished yet with a few little bits to do. Apologies for large black areas - these were my blinds and other bits that didn't fit in with the pictures :-)
	11th Jun 2004	Night Time A few pictures to show the current lighting on the layout. More lighting is planned:- a couple more street lights; some pub lights (and probably a disco!)and lights in some houses.
